Henry Shaw is a commissioned lay pastor (CLP) who served at the Central Presbyterian Church in Haverstraw for over three years. He has been Vice Moderator, Chair of Finance and a member of the Committee on Ministry in the Presbytery of Hudson River. He is attending New York Theological Seminary in pursuit of a theological degree and is a Thompson Scholar from Columbia Theological Seminary. He holds an MBA from Fordham University and an MA from the University of Colorado and has been an adjunct teacher at Fordham and Hofstra Universities and St Thomas. Aquinas College. He is married to Suzanne, a therapist in the eating disorder field, and they have two adult children.
As a CLP, Henry will be commissioned to serve the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion as well as to preach and conduct regular and special worship services.
